My darkened soul

I see no light nor reflection there
I feel no mercy nor peace
It is dark as night and cold as death here
I walk around inside feeling alone
I have lost and loved but still it remains empty
Where once it was good, evil now retains
I know the darkness of my mind has spread its disease
It has tainted my soul
With tears I realize, my body and mind are tattered
Thanks to my darkened soul
I look away but my mind is scarred
My blood runs cold and i realize
What I am starting to become
I have lost the person once I was
I can't feel anything
My entire body is numb now
With tears I realize, my mind and body are tattered
Thanks to my darkened soul |
