» Poem: My Release
My Release
written by Morning Star
10:12 PM 9/10/04
And why you had to go
Is something never shall I know
Remembering the last days we spent
Should've told you how much it meant
But I spoke nothing instead
Then I find your now dead
Now I fear, the tears no longer come
I feel so empty, my body's numb
I want to cry each and every day
Cause of things I never got to say
Slit wrists in my own darkened room
Sitting and await my encroaching doom
I begin to wonder if my pain will ever cease
Never noticing when death grants my release.
