Missed Chance
written by DontFearAConcequence04:13 PM 9/11/04that day went on forever, i wish it didnt end
because that was the last chance i had to save a friend
i guess i didnt find it odd that she cried when she said bye
and when she said i love you i said it was a lie
i always denied it when she said she cared
i guess i just figured that she'd always be there
but here i am 3 days after the big day
and in a casket is where her body lay
she planned a huge party as a way to tell us bye
as i look at her pale face, the tears form in my eye
i didnt get to tell her bye, or tell her that i care
i cant grasp the fact that thats her leying there
she killed herself because she felt alone and insecure
i just wish there was a way i could have saved her |
