» Poem: synthetic salvations
synthetic salvations
written by Poison Ivy
10:39 PM 9/12/04
Through the shadow of the valley of death
we do fear all evil
listen to the demons whisper in our ears
with their wicked tongues
scars on my back
whipped and stabbed
plowed down and bleeding
A synthetic bible. . .

Blood on the pavement
flowing and drying
its doesn't seem to heal and it just wont go away
this was never my world
this was never a dream,
i realize the blood is real and i was never sleeping
i killed myself to stop the screams from keeping me awake
a synthetic illusion. . .

angels watching my every move
They won't go away!
I should have told you i loved you
the only love i knew was real in this dying place
but love is such a simple word
but love itself already died too long ago for anyone to realize
maybe then the dangerous things with wings would leave me be
a synthetic protection. . .

my heart is a blood cloud that has been black for so long
my mouth becoming a crib of lies
that never seems to shut up!
It nevers heals and never goes away
although today is a good day to die
but im too dead to die a blood stain in the making
broken and weeping and too mangled to repair
a synthetic salvation. . .
