Enigma

Alive with all that withers and dies
Now that you’re gone I begin to cry
instead of the truth
I was believing the lie
but fate has forced me to see
how quick you were taken away from me
but I never lost what was right
I kept your face in my sight
No matter what you’re in my mind
The truth was there, I was blind
I still feel love when I hear your voice
the things that happened weren’t by choice
When I sleep I hear your song
It never occurred to me.....
I was asleep all along |

Okay ! Okay ! I have to pat myself on the back for this one ! One of the first poems I wrote way before "On Stage" and so on. Everyone who reads this think they know what I'm talking about...but the answer isn't as obvious as you think. In fact the thought doesn't even cross people's minds. This poem is so very close to my soul that I cried the very second I finished it. Think you know what "Enigma" means ? Take your best shot. Loved to know what you all think. Much Love.
