saved

anyone cared
Until my life
was spared
I tried to kill myself
and bleed
So all my thoughts
would secede
But my friend
happened to walked in
She saved my life
when life was running thin
She checked my heart beat
felt my pulse
she saved me from
my deadly impulse
She called 911
and talked to me
She wouldnt just leave
me there to bleed
She cared so much
and i never knew
until this act of selfishness
that i construed
Thank you so greatly
for the life you saved
when death was the path
i thought was already paved |
