» Poem: Am I Evil?
Am I Evil?
written by Poison Ivy
03:03 AM 9/16/04
I burn down dreams
And build chaos and hate.
I cut and bleed
And call it a sport.
And since I am bleeding quite well
I am winning at this game.

I try to provoke the hate in me
And to be ready for isolation, and the world.
I wait for the next victim
To talk to me out of sympathy
And I hate sympathy.
Just like I hate them.
Because it does me no good.
Just like them.
And I shut them down.
As well as spit in their eyes to make them leave.
And as I watch them walk away,
I laugh at their ignorance
And their pathetic attempt to make a friend.

I am sorry but I do not bond
I do not love
Or get attached
And I look in the mirror and see the demons in me.

I know I am not the cause of this.
But I see the blood on my hands.
Although its not my fault
But the monsters in me who did this,
But I allowed them to take over,
So the real question to ask is-
“Am I evil?”
