I Am

I wonder if I'll ever make it big.
I hear awesome songs in my head.
I see guitars and bright lights.
I want to go down in rock history.
I pretend the entire world loves me.
I feel pressure to be something I'm not.
I touch the microphone in front of me.
I worry I won't live up to everyone's expectations.
I cry because people always seem to judge me.
I am a crazy girl who loves music.
I understand that I need to calm down.
I say you should never judge people.
I dream that I'm famous.
I try to stay focused on school.
I hope to make awesome music.

| Oh, hell. That was so much better than mine. The best thing about my poem was the photos I added to it, which I gotta say were really lovely. Everyone loves a shirtless Beavis and Butthead. But, seriously, I really, really liked that. That had better go up on Mrs. English Teacher's board, I tell you what.
