starting over

i wanna leave
start over new
go where no one knows me
or my past
where they'll only know what i tell them
i wont live a lie anymore
this fake smile will no longer be fake
my eyes will finally be dry
and my heart will start to heal
i'll go away and never come back
and if you would pass me
someday on the street,
you wouldn't recognize me
i'll be someone new
you wont notice me since
i'll have a bright smile
and dry clear eyes
i'll have a better outlook on life
now that i left this place. |
