failed attempts of suicide

how could you not want to know?
That i was spilling, that i was slipping.
When you were the only person on my mind.
all the confusion
the hate and the lies
and now you wont speak to me
now that i survived.
failed attempts to meet my grave
but unfortunately, i was saved.
I told you im sorry but that?s all i have to give.
And i don't think that?s enough for you.
If only you knew how i live and how i don?t want to
as those two days passing by too slowly to bare
how you thought i was under there, six feet under
as i controlled the thunder you thought i was dead.
and when i came up to you and said hi
and all that happened was a fight.
I have this whole other side of me i hope you never see
how i am and how i could be.
you find someone new to satisfy your ears
as i sit here grieving for you all alone.
All because nobody hears my tears silently fall.
im sorry i scared you but I cant let you walk away
We've never met but it feels like i already have.
But maybe you don?t, and if that?s the case
i should have let myself die
and forget that imaginary sweet embrace.
i don't want you to treat me different
although that?s all you can see, and all you will let.
for eight long years those tears built up and was stored away
and all of them made my salty river of pain, and for you
but that probably doesn?t mean anything.
so maybe i should have pulled the trigger
or slit my wrist again.
because i cant claim you, i don?t think i?ll ever win.
so im sorry for scaring you and i hope you forget me soon
so you wont feel bad or care
about my suicidal doom.
And so you wont remember my failed attempts of suicide. . . |
