» Poem: many faces of me
many faces of me
written by Poison Ivy
04:01 AM 9/18/04
the shadowed side i provoke
the brighter side i try to hide
all so i can be alone.
When i dont watch myself closely
i tend to lose control of the face i try to keep
but when i get home
i do tend to weep.
The anger stored in me
used for the girl i want to hide
for the girl i want to die
the girl i want to let loose
but i want to be alone
so i hide behind my mask.
The eye liner
the black lips
the pail face i try to bring forth
is only one of the many faces of me.
one for here
and another for later
hard to keep track,
but somehow i can do it.
To hide
behind the many faces of me..
