excuses

i try to find excuses not to like you
i try to pick out everything wrong with you
even if its the smallest detail
it'll give me an excuse not to fall for you
i try to come up with excuses not to see you
even though deep down i love your presence
i try to find excuses not to take your phone calls
even though i love hearing your voice
but now i'm running out of excuses
you dont do anything wrong
i cant find any excuses
you're perfect in my eyes
i dont wanna fall for you
for the fear of rejection
for the fear of a broken heart
but i have no more excuses left... |
