sorry-poem to my grandpa
written by DontFearAConcequence

(A letter to my grandpa Foster and grandpa Corbin*both dead*)

I’m sorry grandpa,
For my disrespectful ways of life
Your friends in the war,
Became the sacrifice
I disrespected the flag,
And disrespected you
I forgot about the war,
And other things you had to do
I can’t believe,
That you could have died
Soldiers were falling,
From on your side
Your life was put,
On the line
I wish I could,
Give you a sign
That I’m really sorry,
For what I’ve done to disrespect you
From now on,
I will honor you in everything I do
