» Poem: Temptation
Temptation
written by LieBerthalZz gUrlie 4eVa

When you're around,
shadows take control of my existance,
I become an image I shouldn't be,
Something you've always wished of me,
someone I don't know,
or understand,
all I can visualize is this void I live to fulfill,
this black hole that bears my name,
letting go of it all,
I disappear into the wind,
bowing down my head in shame.

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
This is a poem about peer pressure, and just in so many words, its says how teenagers are tempted to do crazy things, and even though they may be against it deep inside,
they do it anyways to fit in with people.
