Dear You

remember her?
That lonely little girl
you shut out of your life
when she became
another responsibilty to you?
Remember that night
she cried herself to sleep?
Soaking in cold tears?
Drip after drip?
Pouring down her face?
You seen her sitting there
in the storm,
but one glance
towards her way
robotically froze you in action,
and within a gust of wind,
you vanished back into your shadow.
There she remained,
by herself,
drenched in fear,
praying that it would all be over soon...
Dear you,
remember me? |
