Boys say,
"Please, I'll be your best friend"...
thanks alot, you're not the first who lied.
Gossip says,
"She's one of those girls, 'nuttin but a slut"...
thanks alot, my spirt died.
Parents say,
"I don't want you with her, she's a bad influence"...
thanks alot, won't be the first time I cried.
Enemies say,
"When I see her, she's done"...
thanks alot, I can't walk outside.
Now nobody says anything,
but actions speak louder than words...
thanks alot, I lost my pride.

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
I think this is a poem that mostly girls can identify with. It's about hanging around with the wrong crowd, you know you shouldn't be with them, but you don't realize what you're doing until you've ruined everything, from your reputation, to your pride.
