The birth of a new day,
a saddened face every which way,
no knowledge of when
these familiar tears
will say goodbye,
or if this drama will ever die.
Yet, every second is another chance,
a proposal to advance,
if even for the first time,
weakness turns strong,
courage lives long,
for nothing stays the same,
everything that lives
earns a name,
to be something somehow,
whether tomorrow or now,
darkened skies must proceed,
leaving air to breathe,
and faith leads this Earth
through a new day's birth. |
