» Poem: you don't know me |
you don't know me
written by SilentScreamsofDeath03:37 AM 9/21/04Don't think that you know me.
I'm more than I show you.
You only know what I let you see.
You'll never know what's inside of me.
Don't think that you know me.
I want you to like me.
You'd be afraid if I let you in.
You'll never see what's beneath my skin.
I could be a poet.
Or maybe I paint.
I might be a killer.
Or may be a saint.
Don't think that you know me.
I'm more than I tell you.
I'm all alone in a crowded room.
Deep in my mind, lost in my gloom.
Don't think that you know me.
I don't let you see me.
I know one thing and I have no doubt.
No one can hurt me if I keep them all out.
I may be just crazy.
Or playing a part.
I could be your lover.
If I had a heart. |
