» Poem: Bipolar
Bipolar

(first side of me says..)
She'll never know what I know.
I don't think she could handle it,
not even if power and wisdom
were her closest friends.

(second side of me says..)
I'll never know what she knows.
I don't think I have what it takes.
I'd rather blend in with a cloud,
saying goodbye to whoever I am.

(first side of me says..)
I guess I should go
back to the beginning,
maybe she'll understand
if I make it more clearer.

(second side of me says..)
I'll never in a million years
become what she's made of,
might as well give up,
and put my fist through this mirror.

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
This is about how we all can sometimes have two different personalities, like maybe one minute we'll be real confident, and the next minute we lose all hope, I guess it's just a part of life, like we go through these stages and all.
