» Poem: A Broken Infatuation
A Broken Infatuation
written by LieBerthalZz gUrlie 4eVa

I don't know you,
yet I feel the need to impress you.
I feel as if I'm not good enough for you.
Each and every day,
I watch you walk on by,
with your head always held high,
as if the world belongs to you.
The confidence and security
you have in yourself,
overpowers everything I am,
and leaves me with only a dream,
trouble is, you are my dream,
but I'm left with nothing
to persue it with.
