going to hell

the sands of my time; in my hourglass,
is nearly up.
The last few grains of the time
that once mine was to spend,
trickled into the lower bulb of the glass,
my heart started to beat
faster and faster
I was longing for this moment
my whole conscious life at least if not more,
to go and in hand in with the grim reaper
to an entirely
better place, place were I could be happy,
a place were I could be
with the one I love forever more.
Out of the corner of the round room
I sat in the reaper
looked pityingly down on me
"what little excuse of a life you wasted my child"
said he his voice echoed round
the room in an unreal way
"my whole life I have wanted so badly to die now it is finally happening do not ruin the moment for me"
I scolded him in a mocking like way,
were ever I got the courage from
to scold the grim reaper
I resented it now I was going to have to
fight my way in to hell
what a burden I thought to my self
to lay on a girl of thirteen
the reaper smiled in a kind like fashion
how a skull could smile was beyond me
but as soon as he did
the room felt larger and over all
I think I felt happier too
the grim reaper held out his hand
I took it and a stair way appeared
again in the corner of the round room
hand in hand he escorted me
down the stairs of hell the
devil, Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub
what ever you wish to call him
met me on the last step and took
my hand the reaper vanished
and I was taken in to the eternal party of hell ! |
