» Poem: as we fly
as we fly
written by Poison Ivy
03:25 AM 9/25/04
why do you cowar in fear from the dark
in the clouds of heaven-we fly.
dreaming our hearts out
quietly as we die.
running from our fears
as i play with the shadows
blood streams come for me as i dream for once.
why do we cry over a scrap as a child
brace yourself for pain.
it never seems to heal for me.
solitude for the wounded and no pity to spare
no reason to shed a tear as we fly
no need to care. . .
