memories of living
written by Poison Ivy04:18 AM 9/25/04tears come frequently
with the thought of being alive
wore down by the constant chore
of remembering to breathe.
i lost the pleasure
of doing what i loved
and gained the hollowness
of being dead.
wanting to let myself give up and die away
but maybe
i already did.
all my intuitions died down
making me defensless prey.
and still these tears come frequently
with the memory of being alive. . . |
