» Poem: that girl
that girl
written by Poison Ivy
04:31 AM 9/25/04
there once was a girl
who lived in a world she did not understand
she never heard of love
but still gave it a chance
they asked, "do you love me?"
"please say yes. . ."
but she knew there was no effect
she looked around herself
and saw everything had crumbled in the wind
she thought it was a bad dream
and that she would be waking up soon
but she soon realized it was the end.
she tried to stay close to her 'friends'
but when she thought she was 'close'
she suddenly disappeared
she knew she was different.
and still she tried to be perfect.
as sad
she cheered up because she know
she knew that no one had yet to notice her scars of torture.
she never know she had hid them so well.
but still
no matter how she tried
she could not hold back the tears.
she had hidden in the dark for so long
she noticed everyting was beginning to fall apart
until there was only the dust blowing in the wind, again.
everything vanished
the images they had of her and what she was like
that day. . .
no one can forget.
herbody so still cold and on the dirty floor
"how could she have done it?" they said
"what went wrong?"
few people cried
most of them were disgusted
but everyone talked about it
they never thought she could have dont it
they thought she was happy
but they couldnt have been anymore wrong.
but i guess she wasnt 'perfect'
