» Poem: What you want |
What you want
written by TowelytheThing01:12 AM 5/28/04Walk together.
Side by side.
How can I resist?
To be with you.
Pace so slow.
Walk so sweet.
Tell a joke.
And our eyes meet.
We walk slower.
Changing the pace.
Stopping in our tracks.
Laughter over.
Rubbing heads.
Grasping hands.
I turn my head.
Knowing the outcome.
A kiss.
You smile and let go.
And push me forward.
So we can go walk again.
Slow walking.
A meter forward.
I look back.
You stood there.
So frozen.
Very sad.
Deadly depressed.
Like being 1000 years old.
The worst is happening.
You want it.
I'm scared to give it.
I grab your hand.
And pull you along.
Hey, c'mon...it'll be fun!
Grabbing my arms.
And pull me forward.
Closer and closer.
What you want is happening.
Birds are singing.
And all is quiet.
It was magical.
The kiss. |
