» Poem: A Dark Lullaby
A Dark Lullaby
written by greenybean06
03:59 AM 10/4/04
A purple badge is placed
sometimes big, sometimes small
though never on the face
Worthless,
Nothing,
Stupid,
Weak,
The only words she hears,
It being true is what she fears.
The sharp words cut into her skin
Though hurt her, they do not.
The hatred of her kin
are exactly what
brings her these pains.
Her sorrow renders her sleepless.
A bullet to the brain
or a bullet to the chest
Are the only things that will bring her rest
