» Poem: they wonder why we have no selfesteem
they wonder why we have no selfesteem

I decide to boost my low self-esteem
I went shopping to get some clothes
As I walked into the store I ran into some people
I apologized just to find out they were people from school
I was in a good mood so I kept walking
They began to follow, giggle, and throw things at me
I tried to ignore them cause it was supposed to be a good day
I wasn’t about to let them get in my way
More people came to bring me down
I could have sworn it was the whole town
I began to cry as they surrounded me
I’ve given up and they continue to harass me
Finally they leave and I can go home
That was the last day I had any self-esteem
