» Poem: if there was a god
if there was a god
written by DontFearAConcequence

Help me god, if you exist
I need help with continuing life
Things are getting hard and I don’t understand
How do these things happen, if you in command?
Don’t you worry about how much this hurts?
Don’t you see the pain in our eyes?
Don’t you see the lack of smiles on our faces?
Lately I’ve had a hard time keeping anything
People dieing, everyone crying, friends getting hurt
We’re all hurting, and beyond repair
We need someone to wipe our tears
The security of knowing and no longer wondering
We may not show it but we need
We want, we strive, we beg, we plead
You don’t see it unless you look deep into our eyes
Looking through our masks of pain and lies
Most people don’t take the time
But if you were real, you’d help
We need to be cared about more then anything
Fucking help if you care
Give us another chance
Its what we need
This is my last attempt
I’m giving up
Fuck this waiting
Fuck this trying
I can’t hold on to broken promises
I can’t hold on to lies
