your favorite game

say you love me
and whisper sweet nothings in my ear
as you're lying beside me
you put your hands around my throat
i gasp for air
you let go as i try to catch my breath
you take out a knife
you cut my wrists
you cut all over my body
you take off my shirt
you take the knife
cut my chest open
tear out my heart
you look at it - observing it
you smile - then look down at me and laugh
tears are flowing down my face
like a river flowing down a mountain
but you dont care how much pain i'm in
you toss my heart up and down
you yank and pull on it
as i'm screaming in pain
you kick it around
hit it - smack it
you're enjoying this too much
you take your knife
and start cutting pieces out of my heart
i'm hurting so much
screaming - yelling
but no one hears
you laugh at me
and tell me that no one can help me now
after my viens are run dried of my blood,
you place my heart back in my chest
you place all the pieces in the wrong places
you stitch me back up
clean all the blood up
tell me you love me
kiss me on the cheek
and you leave
left me there to go on, yet another day
you hurt me so bad
but you know i'll just let you come back,
and do it all over again
its your favorite game,
playing with my heart... |

im curious to know what you think of my poem . .so please leave me some comments. i think i really like this poem out of all my others.. if you dont understand it, it means that a guy is hurting you (not physically although it sounds that way) and you just keep running back to him and you cant let him go...
