Tarantula
written by Fallen Beauty08:26 PM 10/8/04In this web
This web of life
I have found
Nothing but strife.
As hard as I try
I simply cannot seem
To make fantasy real
And not just a dream.
For I dream of Perfection
And endless peace,
Where evryone's content
And love does not cease.
Where there is no deception
No hate, no lies;
No hurtful secrets
Beneath the disguise.
Yes, I know it's a mask
And yours is see-through.
The only reason i know
Is cause I wore one, too.
One that smiled;
Never cried,
And hid my tears
When you died.
Your soul so unique
Suddenly lost,
Like a blazing flame
Frozen in frost.
Hold on to the strings
Don't let go
Someone help me,
Save me from my woe.
Move on
Go and grow
Leave me to die
It's painful and slow.
In my web of truth
My web of light
My web of passion
That shines in the night.
I like my web
Sparkling like cider
And my lonely life
As a beautiful spider. |
