» Poem: Echoes Of A Strange Soul
Echoes Of A Strange Soul
written by Emo_Death_Wish
03:28 AM 5/29/04
Below a river I hide
Afraid of what's inside
Clammoring up on the moistened banks
I find nothing for which to give thanks
Upon gleeming prairies I lie
Wondering if I really want to die
Roaming through the wailing winds
Try to hide from my mind's low din

Chorus****Begin with me today
Pretending to feel
Makes me laugh when you say,"I love to see you happy"
But you don't know
You don't know

Sulking through the vines of the weeping willow
Using broken thoughts as a pillow
Shivering as the leaves caress
The willow's tears leave me in distress

**Chorus**

How long have I been lost I ask
Too long to know my other side replies
Will you ever lock and grasp
Yes, my mind denies

**Chorus**

I weep for me too
