Evil Eyes
written by Fallen Beauty08:50 PM 10/9/04I resemble deception
In my beady eyes, I see
You notice my perfection
And simply cannot flee.
Eye contact is made
Your blue eyes full of fear.
The color from your face will fade
The more I draw near.
The way I move
Never ceases to amaze
My trance-like groove
Puts you in a daze
I can be frightful
I can be sly
I can be spiteful
And laugh while you cry.
Slowly but steadily
I make my way
And stare readily
At my tasty prey.
And quick as a flash
Before you can blink
I move in, make a gash,
And leave with a wink.
My eyes never leave
Your face, wincing with pain.
Yet you perceive
That I don't care what I've slain.
For I star with Malice
At my lovely victim's frame.
And like a spilled chalice
The blood from your body drains.
You lay screaming, you curse
I snicker as I depart.
I don't know which is worse
Your hateful eyes or my black heart.
Now off I go
Smiling to myself
To find more food, you know,
And practice my grace and stealth. >:} |
