not worth tears

"hey, what are you doing?"
"nothing, just hanging out with some people"
"girls?"
"no.."
"then who's in the background that sounds like a girl!?"
"umm..."
"its her, isn't it?"
"... i'm sorry..."
my eyes fill with tears
i hang up before you notice that i'm about to cry
you promised that i was the only one
you promised that you didn't want anything to do with her
your promises mean nothing to me now
you were all a lie
why do i care so much?
when obviously you dont.
i shouldn't cry these tears..
you're not worth them. |
