Kitty

i begin comparing him, to me
seeming to have no care at all
getting right back up each time you fall
mean and harsh words dont hurt you
when youre made fun of, you have no clue
how nice life would be not being picked on every day
no pain comming from what others say
looking at Gir i dont see lies
looking at Gir theres no disguise
he is who he is and isnt afraid
his true self isnt begining to fade
meanwhile theres me
struggling internally to be freed
from this constant torment and lies
constantly my self confidence dies
i strain to be myself and not get lost in trend
i can never trust, not even a friend
what i'd give to be like Gir, careless and unknowing
without my pain and hunger for self showing
to be able to stare fear in the eye
take the harrassment and not cry
humans have it hard and bring it upon themself
we worry about everything from apperience to wealth |
