» Poem: Knocked Down
Knocked Down
written by pongster182

Just like everyone else,
I've been knocked down.
Knocked down and forgotten.
My own family left me in that dark hole.
I tried climbing to the top,
but I kept sliding down deeper...
letting my blood smear across the walls of endless misery.
Forever longing for a sign of life, a bringer of light...
I still sit at the bottom of Earth's wound.
