Memory

A scar for me
Cutting deeper
Watch me bleed
The pain is nothing
To what you made me feel
But none the less it makes me real
I would write
Numb the pain
But writing just is not the same
So here I am
Cutting deeper
You my very own grim reaper
Though bleeding has stopped helping too
Theres nothing left
Another slash for you
For your memory
That just won't leave
For the all the times
That I believed
I cannot find an end to this
Sit and grin because you're in bliss
An eternal prison
Pain risen
And its still rising
Maybe its suprising
I can't take it anymore
Disintegrated, dying
On the floor
A butterfly in your fist
Wings broken
Bleeding wrists
But nothing will numb this pain
Bring me shelter from torrential rain
So I'm still here
Cutting deeper
No longer fear
Not of letting go
Nothing shows
See me smiling
So sure its true
Really haven't got a clue
Every smile is only fake
A painted image
Waiting to break
I can't fight this anymore
Torn down to a broken core
So here I am
Cutting deeper
No more writing to sooth the pain
No more crimson from these veins
A cut for you
A scratch for me
Cutting deeper
Until I'm free |
