» Poem: it hurts to remember
it hurts to remember
written by Poison Ivy

a few years ago i couldnt write about love. artifical feelings being showed and told to me over and over again. back and forth. hearing 'i love you' sounded so deceivingly sweet. and i believed all the lies. soon, i was writing about hopless matter, death, and heartbreak. thats all i knew. the love letters- i burned them. the gifts are now in peices. it hurts to remember. given the time for the torn wounds to heal, but the fear never faded. but i think thats changed- now that youre here. my storm clouds seem to be fading. i cant believe it! i have a smile on my face! you came in and pulled away the curtans, and now im not afraid to love. . .
