lose

im pushed down
again and again
further and further from the end
back to the beginning
to lose again
to fail and fail
to unveil
the truth
we each behold
i'll retake this trip
while losing my grip
each finger letting loose
slipping from this place
falling and fading so fast
knowing i won't last |
