» Poem: lies
lies
written by Trapezium

They say actions speak louder then words,
But cruel words are so much worse,
I never dreamed my words would do this to you,
And I never dreamed I'd see you in that cold black hearse.

I brought you to your knees,
All this time I felt insecure,
And I let it all out on you,
I remember the tears in those eyes; pale azure.

I never saw eyes that colour,
I never saw eyes with so much pain,
Just to think I brought that on,
I feel so bad; so ashamed.

You were close to me even though I pushed you away,
I sit here tears in my unforgivable eyes,
Not because of you; you don't deserve them,
Just because this brings back memories; lies.
