Dancing in lies

The deceit, the lies, what you said you hated.
You lied about lying and cried about crying,
You poisoned the dying and denied denying.
You were a contradiction unto the very being you are,
You created pain and destruction in your very path.
Now I'm dancing in your lies trying to make it right,
But again I fuck up, wish I was out of sight.
You told me I'd be happy and told me I'd be good,
I'm the exact opposite, not what I should.
You wanted me to be just like you,
Wanted me to do things that you do.
I turned out to be a disappointment so you lied,
You put me on emotional pathways until I had to hide. |
