Coldness and Crispness
written by izzzy02:22 AM 10/15/04Coldness and Crispness
Shuddering through the forest
wondering where you fire is
its out
out to dance
above the starlit sky
out to teach
the world why -
Melting, Sweltering and Confusion
The day has broken the fabric of the sky
and launched its deadly assult on
the wanderer
You wish you knew how to dance like the fire
Or how to teache like the flame
Or how to be with company, totally unlike it
You're lonely like the flame
Singular, as in one body like yourself
yet leaves an impression, just like you do
An imprint
A flame
The fire within you |

What actually happened was I was lost in the bush and had made a fire and had burnt myself accidentally. Shit happens. [ View izzzy's Profile ] [ Go to the Poetry Portal ] This Poem has been viewed 343 times
