» Poem: What do you do?
What do you do?
written by izzzy

When love is but a meter away
But you can't go pull it in
"No guts, no glory" my father said
I know I'll never win

Your love is cheating on you
but you can't go face him today
"No time like tomorrow"
My mother would always say

Fighting to stay on top
You know your gunna loose
You deny it, to fight it, to win
But in the end you'll have to choose

You end up facing your death, embrace
to loose your one and only love
to remember it all slammed in you face

Now what do you do?

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
This person is extremely pressured by her family and her peers. She obviously wants to please everyone but she can't. In this struggle she looses everything and is told, pretty much, that she is a joke, a failure.
