Just another day

Did you ever understand all that was said?
Why is it that all seems gone,
when your life is dead?
All life goes down the drain.
No one understands.
Isolated.
All alone.
No one can feel the way I do.
I'm only a girl,
surrounded by a world.
As you see me today,
know that I will fail.
Sadness upon the world,
becomes just another day.
The night fails
and it becomes just another day.
You saw me when I was down.
You came and picked me up from the ground.
Told me that it was okay,
that you'd always be there.
I called.
You were gone.
I'm just a girl,
in a gaping hole.
Now as you see me today,
know that I will try.
Defeat, courage and determination,
become just another day.
The darkness fails
and it becomes just another day.
To call, to hold, to show, to keep, to love,
to live, to learn, to die, to fight, to win.
When I die, will you remember?
When war continues, will love prevail?
I'm only a girl,
fighting to stay alive.
Now while you see me,
I wither away.
I know I will die.
Death of another teenager,
Swallows another day.
My life fails,
And life goes on.
It becomes just another day... |

This girl is trying to stay alive although she has lost all hope. She feels that if she dies, no one would care anyway. She hopes things will change but she is doubtful.
