» Poem: Siberia
Siberia
written by izzzy

Standing in "Siberia"
Amoungst all the wrong
Being pushed into being inferior
You just don't belong

New to the group "Siberia"
Forced to prove yourself
Longing to pay your debt to society
Taught to follow the crowd like Santa's little Elf

The cold is getting to you
in "Siberia"
You didn't bring enough time
To acclimatise yourself to the conditions
Your life now filled with crime

It really wasn't your fault
The teacher had mistaken Identity
The lable 'mischief maker' ever more
Claims you a spot in "Siberia"

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
My teacher in year seven had labled a part of the room "SIBERIA" it was a corner of the room and you had to humiliate yourself by placing your nose on the wall until the teacher said so.
This place forced us to become drones, to eliminate any part of individuality we contained. Pretty ironic since it was a creative class.
