» Poem: Broken Glass
Broken Glass
written by Morning Star
07:57 PM 10/15/04
I scream at the mirror
Hating the monster I see there
It yells back in a silent cry
I beg it to leave me alone
It wont leave, just keeps staring
Everywhere I move to
I turn, it's still there
It speaks only with silence
I can't take this anymore
I yell one final warning
It mocks me in silence
With a heavy bloe the glass shatters
I laugh in triumph but soon scream
I fall to the floor and huddle in the corner
I am surrounded by monsters now
Images staring silently from the broken glass..
