beauty behind the curtains

all the years come and go
they fade away.
no darkness hides from light in my world.
no love to sooth my soul.
its nothing to miss
all the hopless love songs dont speak to me anymore
the heartbreaking peotry doesnt relate
why should i care if no one else does?
so tell me, love.
am i beautiful?
(silence)...
but i remember what you told me in that dream.
"you're so beautiful"
so i'll just pretend your here
whispering sweet nothings back and forth
that you've pull away the curtains and i can now see
that someoneout there does love me
and to some point. . .i am beautiful. . . |
