» Poem: Rock bottom
Rock bottom
written by izzzy
08:04 AM 10/16/04
I have reached the bottom
Am I game to stand back up?
Will I fall back down again?
Or spill the blood from this cup?

I hold my soul up for the taking
Hoping I'll survive from all this pain
Am I ready for the awakening
Of the souls at Samhain

Whispering, loud and clear
All the thoughts that have ever come near
To the light, to their desire
To set one's heart on bright, cold fire

And when everything new
Seems old once more
All I want is a clue
to the door
That will set me free,
once more
