» Poem: For the taking
For the taking
written by izzzy

Long days I waited,
Baited, for you love.
But you shoved me off, again.

Long days I sat there,
Anywhere, dreaming.
you'll come back to me.

But since you tore me apart,
I know you want my heart.

It's yours for the taking.
