» Poem: His Sorrows Ended (Revised)
His Sorrows Ended (Revised)
written by Misery

the darkness covered the land, she slowly rose dressed in all black crushed velvet. Her pale skin was as beautiful as the Sister Moon. She walked the streets from the crypt that was my ancient home. The only lovely light was from the moon. There is only one other about in the night as she walked across the fresh cut grasss. One lonely child, a male young in his teens. Lonely and unloved. Not wanted and crying holding a book writen in Italian covered in tears does the poor boy hold. She slowly approached him attracted to him because of his sorrow. He looked up to her with his red tearful eyes staring at the devilish beauty that was her. She sat next to him, and as if he knew what she had seeked deep within him. She took him in her cool cold arms and drew upon his blood from his lovely sensative neck. As his heart quickened his cries slowed and ended and held tight to me until he grew weak. He slipped away the sorrow finaly leaving him letting him be at peace. She pulled away from him and placed the book once more in his arms and leaned him against the tree she kissed is cooling neck and watched the bite mark disappear. She smiled stroking his face, he had moved on. He was at rest, now she got up and walked away glancing back to him. His sorrows were ended, she had done only what she was called to do. She knew she would be looked down upon, but it didn't matter as long as there was peace and balance to the souls within the realms.
