In The Dark
written by bleedblack01:48 AM 10/18/04I sit in my room, cold and alone
Staring into the darkness of the unknown
Only the light of my metallic blade
Shows in the dark of the unforgiving shade
Crimson blood shimmers down my face
In a trail of tears that no one can trace
I mark my arms in a merciless way
Engraving the message I am trying to convey
The pain is too much for me to bare
Nothing can save me, neither God’s word nor prayer
My pain was subsided, but no longer can hide
There is too much that cannot all be cried
Tired of all the memories full of pain
Never having sunshine after the rain
So I continue to drown in my sorrows
Hoping that I won’t awake tomorrow |
